Workshop #3- Lighting sets

Lighting

Every time a light is turned on you must say "eyes down, sparking". 

Adjust exposure on camera to make camera shot less bright (or) use a trace and place it in front of lights to make it less harsh.

Lights in the room = house lights/workers 

Single point lighting 

Redhead lights are used for general film light- has a protective mesh in case the bulbs blows.  

Redhead lights are placed next to camera. 

Three point lighting- lighting three different points

Key light, redhead light and backlight.

Backlight (also known as blonde) is used in order for subject to not merge with background.

Beauty lighting

Adjusting the exposure make the image get sharper. Lighting board bounces light easily- easier to diffuse.

Fluorescent lighting

 

Skin complexion matter with lights.
